The Echo Park Project

This Project is an exchange of information and experience among established artists and the younger street artists, both living in the neighborhood. The Project was intended as a creative, positive and alternative way for youth of the inner city to express themselves outside of gangs. The Echo Park Project proposes to return the voice to the youth that are silenced by violence, drug abuse, and misunderstanding. Opening ourselves to understanding the streets, and in turn presenting street artists with alternative artistic styles can only extend their lives as well as their repertoire.
